BJP’s former Tamil Nadu chief K Annamalai has strongly warned his critics against dragging his name into the rebellion led by AIADMK veteran KA Sengottaiyan against the party’s leadership. Speaking at Coimbatore airport, Annamalai denied any involvement in Sengottaiyan’s meetings with AIADMK leaders O Panneerselvam and VK Sasikala, rejecting claims that he orchestrated these gatherings.Expressing restrained anger, Annamalai said he has so far maintained silence out of respect for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s advice but cautioned that his patience has limits. He hinted that if provoked, he might reveal more details that could impact the political narrative. Emphasizing his commitment to “clean politics,” Annamalai stated his continued association with the BJP depends on whether the party aligns with his principles, signaling potential consequences if unwarranted allegations persist.
