Guidehouse donates 3 new classrooms to Chennai School


Global consulting and technology firm Guidehouse has handed over three newly constructed classrooms to the Government Higher Secondary School at Alapakkam in Chennai, as part of its Child-friendly Schools Program.

The initiative reflects Guidehouse’s commitment to promoting educational equity and improving learning infrastructure for underprivileged students. The Alapakkam school, which serves 1,239 students from nearby slum areas, now benefits from upgraded classrooms designed to create a safer and more engaging learning environment.

The handing-over ceremony was attended by senior Guidehouse officials, including President John Saad, Country Head Mahendra Rawat, Partner Vinay Singh, and other leaders Jaswant Bangera, Navinkumar Balachandiran, Saji Zacharia, Sivasankari Sankaran, and Arul Sajin.

Guidehouse said the effort aims to strengthen the educational foundation of children from disadvantaged communities and contribute to long-term social progress.
