Gautham Ram Karthik’s upcoming film “ROOT – Running Out of Time” has officially wrapped up shooting after a three-month-long schedule.Directed by debutant Sooriyaprathap S, known for his work as an associate director on Rajinikanth’s “Kochadaiiyaan,” this sci-fi crime thriller promises a gripping cinematic experience. The film also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Aparshakti Khurana, who has been praised for his strong contribution to the project.”ROOT” features Gautham Ram Karthik in the lead role of a police officer, bringing depth and power to the character.
Actress Bhavya Trikha plays the female lead, while veteran actor Y Gee Mahendran plays a pivotal role. Director Sooriyaprathap described the film as a passion project combining a thrilling crime storyline within a sci-fi backdrop, but grounded with emotionally resonant characters.
