Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Tamil Naduâs Minister for School Education, recently highlighted the strength of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party’s long-standing alliances in the state.
Speaking at an event in Thanjavur after welcoming the 14th Junior Hockey World Cup, Mahesh emphasized that the DMK and its allies share core principles and a common adversary, which unites them in their commitment to defending Tamil Naduâs sovereignty and democratic values.
Mahesh stressed that this alliance has been the DMK’s biggest strength, having maintained consistent partnerships for over a decade. The united front will continue to collaborate closely in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly polls to face challenges together and counter political opponents.
The Minister also credited Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for successfully bringing the prestigious international hockey tournament to Tamil Nadu, with events planned in Chennai and Madurai from November 28 to December 10, involving 24 teams from around the world.
