In a major step toward positioning Tamil Nadu as the world’s most competitive destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), the State government on Wednesday inked a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GCC leader ANSR Global. The partnership aims to create 10,000 high-value jobs in the State.
Industries Minister Dr. T.R.B. Raaja announced that ANSR will play a key role in bringing the next wave of global corporations to Tamil Nadu. The State, he said, will extend support through policy enablement, fast-track approvals, site selection assistance, and strong talent linkages.
Highlighting the significance of the collaboration, the Minister noted that GCCs are reshaping industries, and Tamil Nadu is poised to reshape the GCC landscape nationwide.
In a post on X, Dr. Raaja said the MoU was signed by Guidance Tamil Nadu during a round table discussion with top GCC leaders in Bengaluru. “ANSR Global, one of the world’s leading builders of GCCs, has partnered with us to create 10,000 high-value jobs. The confidence they have placed in Tamil Nadu reflects the strength of our vision and the trust we have earned under the leadership of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin,” he wrote.
ANSR, which has helped establish more than 200 GCCs for global corporations, sees Tamil Nadu as a strategic destination for expansion. The Minister added that sectors such as technology, automotive, BFSI, engineering, aerospace, and retail have already chosen Tamil Nadu for its skilled talent pool, robust infrastructure, and consistent policy framework.
“This partnership will bring the next wave of global corporations to Tamil Nadu. We are committed to supporting ANSR with policy support, quick approvals, and talent ecosystem integration,” Dr. Raaja said.
