Stock up on essentials ahead â drinking water, milk, candles or flashlights, medicines and other necessities â in case of power outages or supply disruption.
Residents are urged to follow these instructions strictly and remain alert until the cyclone passes.
As Cyclone Ditwah advances toward Tamil Naduâs coast, all flights scheduled to depart from Chennai International Airport heading to destinations like Tiruchirappalli, Thoothukudi and Madurai have been temporarily cancelled.
