Chief Minister M. K. Stalin said today that under the rule of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), the government will stand as a strong partner for investors and assure full support for business ventures in the state.
At an event inaugurating a major manufacturing plant in Kancheepuram district, involved in advanced glass production for mobile phones and laptops, the CM pointed out that Tamil Nadu has already emerged as the electronics capital of India. He said that since 2021 the “Dravidian-model government” has acted decisively and rapidly to bring in investments.
Highlighting the state’s success, he stated that more than a thousand MoUs (Memoranda of Understanding) have been signed under the current government, with around 80% of them already completed or under implementation.
He emphasized that in addition to electronics manufacturing, the government is focusing on semiconductor production, design, and other high-tech industries. He assured investors that the administration will maintain a pro-business environment and assist them at every step.
According to the Chief Minister, these efforts are intended not only to attract new investment but also to generate employment and strengthen Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading industrial and technological hub.
He concluded by reiterating that investors and industries will have the full support of the DMK government as partners in development.
