The AIADMK has announced that starting December 15, it will begin handing out “voluntary petitions” (nomination or application forms) for those wishing to contest the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections.
The forms will be available from December 15 through December 23 at the party’s headquarters. Eligible aspirants from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, or Kerala who wish to run for assembly seats in these regions may collect the forms.
Interested candidates can pick up these forms between 10 AM and 5 PM, provided they fill in all required details correctly before returning them.
The move comes as state-level preparations intensify ahead of next year’s assembly elections. Political parties across Tamil Nadu — including AIADMK — are ramping up internal processes as electoral alliances are expected to be finalized in January.
