More than 7,000 runners participated in the Indian Navy’s Half Marathon held in Chennai on Sunday, showcasing enthusiasm, endurance and fitness.The event was organised to spread awareness on a drug-free India, promote Adishakti power, and raise caution against online betting. Runners from various age groups and backgrounds took part in the marathon.
The race was conducted in three categories. The 21.1 km Adyar Run tested stamina and grit, the 10 km Parundu Run focused on speed and endurance, while the 5 km Pallava Run encouraged community participation and fitness.
The marathon witnessed strong public support and reflected the growing interest in fitness and social awareness initiatives promoted by the Indian Navy.
