Erode police have given strict rules for Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay’s public meeting on Thursday. The event can only happen from 11 am to 1 pm at a HR&CE venue near Vijayamangalam toll plaza. This spot can hold about 25,000 people.For safety, entry passes with QR codes will be given. Ambulances and fire trucks must stay at the venue. Women get separate seats.
Police asked for many things, like a No-Objection Certificate from the temple. The temple added rules: pay Rs 50,000 security deposit and Rs 50,000 rent. Organizers must get police okay for speakers, provide water and food, ensure safety, and clean up after.
TVK general secretary N Anand told workers at a meeting: pregnant women, elders, and those with babies should not come. He warned against dangerous acts like chasing Vijay’s car on bikes.
