Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), led by its coordinator Seeman, has announced that its state general council meeting will be held on December 27.
The meeting will take place at GPN Palace in Thiruverkadu, Chennai, and will begin at 10 am.
The meeting comes at a time when the political atmosphere in Tamil Nadu is becoming increasingly active. Several parties have stepped up public meetings and campaigns. New and emerging political players have also begun mobilising their supporters across the state.
NTK, which follows a strong Tamil nationalist ideology, has often criticised major Dravidian parties like the DMK and AIADMK on issues related to Tamil language, culture, and identity. The party positions itself as an alternative voice in state politics.
The general council meeting is expected to discuss NTK’s future plans, including its approach to upcoming local body elections and the 2026 Assembly polls.
