Veteran filmmaker Vetrimaaran has shared an incident highlighting the people‑management skills of Suresh Rajakumari, the debut director of the upcoming police drama Sirai.Speaking at the film’s pre‑release event, Vetrimaaran described Suresh as calm, fair and ethical, especially when handling difficult situations.
To illustrate his point, Vetrimaaran recounted how Suresh resolved a conflict involving an office assistant who had been beaten by local youths. Rather than escalating the matter or involving police, Suresh listened to the employee, approached the youths, and peacefully reasoned with them to settle the issue — preserving relationships without conflict.
Vetrimaaran also noted that producer S.S. Lalit Kumar is presenting a car to Suresh in recognition of his patience and leadership. Sirai, starring Vikram Prabhu and newcomer L.K. Akshay Kumar, is set to release on December 25.
