The additional entry point, located along Tiruvottiyur Road, is equipped with a lift (elevator) and a moving staircase (escalator), ensuring easier and safer access to the station. The facility is expected to benefit senior citizens, persons with disabilities, school students, and women commuters, reducing dependence on stairs and easing entry during peak hours.
