The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced a range of passenger facilities and support services to ensure smooth travel for commuters to destinations including Kumbakonam and Tiruvannamalai.
Passengers can book tickets through multiple channels, including the official TNSTC website (www.tnstc.in), the TNSTC mobile application, and the WhatsApp booking service (94440 18898). In addition, reservation counters are functioning at the Kilambakkam and Koyambedu bus terminals from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
To help passengers plan their journey efficiently, TNSTC has introduced the “Know Your Bus” facility, which allows travellers to check bus platform details one hour in advance.
For passenger assistance and grievance redressal, a 24-hour Transport Helpline (94450 14436) has been activated. Complaints related to omni bus overcharging can be lodged through the toll-free number 1800 425 6151. Additional complaint numbers include 044-24749002, 044-26280445 and 044-26281611. A round-the-clock control room has also been set up to address public grievances.
To improve last-mile connectivity, city buses will operate 24 hours a day between the Koyambedu, Kilambakkam and Madhavaram bus terminals, facilitating seamless movement for passengers across the city.
