The AIADMK has responded sharply to a comment made by DMK MP Kanimozhi about giving scooties to women. Kanimozhi had said that promises like scooty schemes made by political parties in the past were not fulfilled.
She spoke at a DMK event, saying only Chief Minister M.K. Stalin could run the government well. She also warned people not to believe promises that never came true.
In reply, the AIADMK IT wing posted on social media that the party did give scooties when it was in power.
They said former Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami fulfilled the promise during his term. The party also said their womenâs support schemes would continue under their leadership.
