In preparation for the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party has announced that it will commence formal seat-sharing negotiations with its alliance partners from 22 February.
This announcement comes as part of the party’s broader election strategy to finalize electoral arrangements within the Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) ahead of the polls.
