India sealed a 17-run victory over the Netherlands in their final group-stage match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, ensuring they finished unbeaten and qualified for the Super Eight phase.
All-rounder Shivam Dube was the standout performer, smashing 66 runs off 31 balls — his highest T20 World Cup score — to help India post a competitive 193/6 after winning the toss and batting first.
In response, the Netherlands reached 176/7 in their 20 overs, with India’s bowlers, led by Varun Chakravarthy taking key wickets to defend the target. Dube also contributed with the ball, picking up crucial dismissals as India held on for the win.
The victory capped off India’s 4-0 sweep in Group A and maintained their perfect record heading into the Super Eight stage, where tougher challenges await.
