Suriya’s much-anticipated 46th film has officially been titled Vishwanath & Sons, and the makers have released the first-look poster, setting social media abuzz ahead of its July 2026 theatrical release.
Presented by Sithara Entertainments, the first poster reveals Suriya in a warm, family-drama avatar — holding an infant and a milk bottle — suggesting a tender narrative centred on relationships and emotional bonds. The actor shared the poster with the caption: “Love with a difference, family with a purpose — we arrive in July as a wholesome entertainer.”
The film is directed by famed storyteller Venky Atluri, known for hits like Lucky Baskhar and Vaathi, and marks one of his major ventures into Tamil cinema. Production is led by Naga Vamsi alongside Sai Soujanya under the Sithara banner.
Alongside Suriya, Vishwanath & Sons features an ensemble cast that includes Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, as well as Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Bhavani Sre and Bollywood star Raveena Tandon — marking her comeback to Tamil films after over two decades.
Industry sources indicate that the story may revolve around the bond between a middle-aged man and a young girl, blending heart-warming moments with family values. The technical team includes music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Nimish Ravi and editing by Navin Nooli, heightening expectations for the production’s emotional depth and visual appeal.
