The final results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination have been released, with candidates from Tamil Nadu achieving notable success by securing places in the national top-10 list. According to the results, 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to prestigious civil services such as IAS, IPS and IFS this year. Two candidates from Tamil Nadu have secured top ranks in the country. Rajeswari Suve from Madurai secured the All-India Rank 2, while Raja Mogaideen secured the 7th rank in the examination. The overall All-India first rank was secured by Anuj Agnihotri, according to the UPSC results. The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by the UPSC to recruit officers for key administrative positions across the country. The exam includes the preliminary test, the main written examination and a final personality interview. The main examination for this cycle was held between August 22 and August 31, 2025, followed by the interview stage before the final results were announced. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the official UPSC website. The achievement of Tamil Nadu candidates in the top-10 list has been widely welcomed, as it marks a significant milestone for aspirants from the State.
