Iran has warned that it will target energy infrastructure across the Middle East if its oil and gas facilities are attacked amid the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel.
According to a statement by Iran’s military command, any strike on Iranian energy infrastructure or ports would trigger a strong retaliation. Officials warned that “all the region’s oil and gas infrastructure” connected to the US and its allies could be set on fire and destroyed.
The warning comes as the war in the Middle East intensifies, with continued military strikes and attacks on energy facilities raising fears of a wider regional escalation and disruption to global oil supplies.
