US President Donald Trump said the situation involving Iran is evolving rapidly as tensions and conflict in the region continue.
Speaking at a Women’s History Month programme held at the White House, the US President said developments were unfolding quickly and the United States was closely monitoring the situation.
“The situation with Iran is moving along very rapidly,” Trump told attendees at the event.
Highlighting the capabilities of the American armed forces, Trump praised the strength and preparedness of the United States Armed Forces.
“Our military is unsurpassed — there’s never been anything like it. Nobody’s ever seen anything like it,” he said. “And we’re doing what has to be done.
The President also strongly criticised Iran, accusing the country of promoting violence and destabilising activities in the region.
