All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has formed a four-member committee to conduct seat-sharing talks with its alliance partners in the NDA ahead of the elections.
The committee includes former ministers K. P. Munusamy, Natham Viswanathan, S. P. Velumani and Valarmathi.
The panel will hold discussions with alliance partners such as the Bharatiya Janata Party, Tamil Maanila Congress, Pattali Makkal Katchi and Puratchi Bharatham regarding the allocation of constituencies.
However, uncertainty remains over whether the AIADMK will hold direct negotiations with the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam led by T. T. V. Dhinakaran. Dhinakaran had earlier indicated that the seats for his party would be allocated by the BJP, creating ambiguity over the possibility of direct talks with the AIADMK leadership.
