Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has announced that interviews for party aspirants seeking tickets for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections will be held from March 17 to March 22.
According to a statement by party General Secretary Duraimurugan, the interviews will be conducted in two sessions daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aspirants who have applied for party tickets will be interviewed by Chief Minister and DMK President M. K. Stalin.
The process will begin on March 17 with applicants from Puducherry and Karaikal, followed by candidates from various districts across Tamil Nadu in the following days.
The final round on March 22 will cover aspirants from districts including Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Cuddalore and Villupuram.
The interviews are part of the party’s preparations for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled for April 23, when all 234 constituencies in the State will go to polls.
