Actor Rajinikanth has issued a strong statement in response to remarks made by Aadhav Arjuna, who had claimed that the superstar withdrew from politics due to threats from the DMK.
The comments by Aadhav Arjuna had sparked widespread criticism from political leaders, film personalities and fans.
Breaking his silence, Rajinikanth said that Aadhav Arjuna, who holds a key position in the party, had made “false statements” about him.
In his statement, the actor expressed heartfelt gratitude to several political leaders across party lines, film industry members, media professionals and his fans for standing by him and condemning the remarks. Those he thanked include leaders like Edappadi K. Palaniswami, Nainar Nagendran, L. Murugan, Raghupathi, Thol. Thirumavalavan, S.P. Velumani, Annamalai, Anbumani Ramadoss, G.K. Vasan, John Pandian, and others, along with film personalities and journalists.
He also thanked his fans, referring to them as the “deities who keep him alive,” for their unwavering support.
Ending his message on a philosophical note, Rajinikanth stated, “Time will not speak, but will wait and answer,” signalling a calm yet firm rebuttal to the controversy.
The issue stems from Aadhav Arjuna’s earlier remarks alleging that political pressure from DMK prevented Rajinikanth from entering politics, which triggered strong reactions across Tamil Nadu.
