Vijay, founder of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, is set to take part in an Iftar (breaking of fast) event today as part of Ramadan observances.
The event, organised by his party, is expected to see participation from members of the Muslim community, with Vijay likely to join prayers and break the fast along with attendees. Such gatherings are often seen as efforts to promote communal harmony and outreach.
The move is being viewed as part of Vijay’s continued engagement with different communities ahead of the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu.
