With the Assembly elections approaching, the DMK has intensified its digital campaign strategy, urging party cadres to expand outreach across social media platforms.
In a statement, T R B Rajaa said members of the youth and women’s wings are already promoting the achievements of the DMK government led by Chief Minister M K Stalin.
He called on other party wings to scale up their efforts by actively collecting public opinion and feedback on various government schemes and sharing them online.
“Along with the youth and women’s wings, other wings should gather and present people’s views on the government’s performance,” he said.
Rajaa outlined a targeted approach, suggesting that different wings engage with specific sections of society. The medical wing, he said, could gather inputs from healthcare professionals, while wings representing engineers, non-resident Indians, farmers, and sportspersons should collect feedback relevant to their respective sectors.
The IT wing said that such structured and sector-specific outreach on social media would help amplify the government’s achievements while strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
