Chennai, Mar 31:
Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Chennai and Puducherry on April 3 and 4 as part of election campaigning in Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory ahead of the upcoming polls.
According to sources, Modi will arrive in Chennai on the afternoon of April 3 before proceeding to Puducherry, where he is expected to address a public meeting in the evening in support of BJP and alliance candidates.
He will return to Chennai later that night, with extensive security arrangements being put in place by city police. On April 4, the Prime Minister will interact with around 100 party functionaries in Chennai before campaigning for the party’s candidate in Mylapore. He is also likely to hold a roadshow in T. Nagar or another key area in the city as part of his outreach.
