Filmmaker Gopi Nainar, best known for his socially driven narratives, is set to return with a new film titled Colony, with veteran actor Radikaa Sarathkumar playing the lead role.
The project marks a significant collaboration, bringing together Gopi Nainar’s rooted storytelling style with Radikaa’s strong screen presence. Reports indicate that the film will centre on emotion-driven, socially relevant themes, a space the director has explored in his earlier works.

The makers have already unveiled the first look and motion poster, hinting at an intense narrative grounded in realism. The title Colony suggests a story set against a community backdrop, possibly exploring the lives, struggles and dynamics within a neighbourhood.

Apart from Radikaa, the film is expected to feature a supporting cast including actors like Anjali Nair and M.S. Bhaskar, adding depth to the ensemble.
