Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated film Thalaivar 173 appears to be undergoing yet another reshuffle, with reports suggesting a fresh change in the director’s chair.
The project, produced by Kamal Haasan’s banner Raaj Kamal Films International, has already seen multiple changes since its announcement. Initially, filmmaker Sundar C was set to helm the film before stepping away, following which director Cibi Chakravarthi took over.
However, the latest buzz indicates that the film may undergo another rejig, with speculation that Cibi Chakravarthi could exit the project and Ashwath Marimuthu might step in as the new director.
Despite the behind-the-scenes uncertainty, the project continues to generate strong interest, largely due to the combination of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. The film was initially planned as a major commercial entertainer and is expected to be mounted on a grand scale.
