Chennai, Apr 17:
Chennai Metro Rail Limited has launched its annual customer satisfaction survey for the second consecutive year, inviting passengers to share feedback on their travel experience. The survey, open until May 10, is accessible through CMRL’s official website and social media platforms and aims to gather insights to improve overall service quality.
The survey covers key aspects such as train frequency, operational hours, ease of entry and exit, travel comfort, interchanges, payment options, and access to information. Passengers will also rate reliability, customer care, crowding, and safety, helping CMRL identify priority areas for improvement.
This initiative is part of a global benchmarking programme conducted in collaboration with COMET under the Transport Strategy Centre at Imperial College London. Having joined the initiative in October 2024, CMRL is now among a select group of metro systems worldwide working to enhance service standards and deliver more efficient, user-friendly urban transport.
