TNPSC releases Group 1 rank list

Chennai, Apr 17:

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the Group 1 and Group 1A rank list for key administrative posts, marking the completion of a rigorous selection process conducted in multiple stages.

The recruitment drive was held to fill 80 vacancies, including prestigious roles such as Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), and Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes).

The selection process comprised preliminary, mains, and interview stages, with the final merit list prepared based on candidates’ overall performance.

M. Subramanian secured the top rank, followed by S. Divyalakshmi in second place and V. Pradeep in third. Notably, this is the first time since 2013 that a male candidate has topped the Group 1 examination.
