Actor Rajinikanth did his civic duty by voting in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Fans and reporters outside noticed the famous person getting to the polling place early in the day.

Rajinikanth, who was dressed in his usual simple way, said hello to people quickly before going into the polling station. His participation is part of the larger democratic process happening across the state, where all constituencies are voting in one phase.

Fans also saw the actor taking a stroll early morning near his home in Chennai. The actor even turned and waved back to his fans.

The actor has mostly stayed out of politics lately, but being at the polling booth showed how important it is to vote and be a good citizen. But Rajinikanth was always someone who wanted to make it big in politics but could not.

People are still interested in what Rajinikanth does during elections because he has a lot of power over fans and the general public. A lot of people have voted in the Tamil Nadu elections of 2026, and many famous people have come out early to vote and tell others to do the same.
