Chennai, June 12:
The Tamil Nadu government will conduct a Public Distribution System (PDS) grievance redressal camp across Chennai on June 13, 2026, to address ration card-related issues and provide essential citizen services.
The camp will be held at all 19 zonal Assistant Commissioner offices of the Food Supply and Consumer Protection Department from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
During the camp, ration cardholders can apply for services including addition or deletion of family members, address changes, mobile number updates, and other corrections. Officials will also issue special authorization certificates for senior citizens and others unable to visit fair price shops.
Residents can also lodge complaints regarding fair price shop services and related issues, which will be taken up for prompt action. Authorities have advised beneficiaries to bring their registered mobile number for OTP verification to complete service processing.
The department has urged eligible residents across Chennai to make use of the opportunity to resolve their grievances efficiently.
