Chennai, June 13:
ISKCON Chennai has announced the launch of its weekly Value Education Program for children and teenagers, aimed at nurturing spiritual and moral values through engaging and interactive sessions.
The program, which runs from mid-June to March, will be conducted once a week, with each session lasting between 1.5 to 2 hours. It will be offered both online and at multiple offline locations across Chennai, with sessions available in English and Tamil. Participants can choose from multiple batches and timings.
Centered on the theme ‘Dashavatar’, the initiative seeks to instill devotion, cultural awareness, and strong moral values among young learners. The program also focuses on enhancing concentration and memory skills.
Designed for two age groups, the curriculum offers tailored activities. Children aged 6 to 12 will engage in storytelling, quizzes, shlokas, bhajans, fireless cooking, and art and craft. Teenagers aged 13 to 17 will participate in theme-based discussions, debates, group activities, mind mapping, and JAM (Just A Minute) sessions.
