Chennai, July 4:
The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has invited applications for admission to its Industrial Training Institute (ITI) for the 2026–27 academic year.
Eligible candidates who have passed Class 10 can apply for the Automobile (Motor Mechanic Vehicle – MMV) trade, a two-year training programme. Students admitted through the government counselling process will be exempted from paying tuition fees.
The training will be conducted at the MTC ITI in Gandhi Nagar, Chromepet. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will have the opportunity to undergo ACT Apprentice training at MTC.
