Special trains between Tirunelveli & Chennai in July

To manage increased passenger traffic during weekends and holidays, Southern Railway has announced special weekly train services between Tirunelveli and Chennai Egmore on select dates in July.

Chennai, July 4:
To manage increased passenger traffic during weekends and holidays, Southern Railway has announced special weekly train services between Tirunelveli and Chennai Egmore on select dates in July.
The Tirunelveli–Chennai Egmore Special (Train No. 06070) will operate on July 9, 16, 23 and 30, departing Tirunelveli at 11:35 pm and arriving in Chennai Egmore at 10:45 am the following day.
In the return direction, the Chennai Egmore–Tirunelveli Special (Train No. 06069) will run on July 10, 17, 24 and 31, leaving Chennai Egmore at 1:35 pm and reaching Tirunelveli at 1:00 am.
The special trains will halt at major stations including Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchirappalli, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram, among others, offering convenient travel options across Tamil Nadu.
