Chennai,  July 14:

Bandhan Bank has launched “Cyber Cop,” a nationwide cyber awareness campaign under its CSR initiative, in collaboration with filmmaker Rohit Shetty. The campaign aims to promote safer digital behaviour and help citizens tackle the rising threat of cyber fraud.

The initiative comes at a time when cybercrime cases are surging across India, with reported financial losses running into thousands of crores. “Cyber Cop” encourages a simple safety approach — pause, verify and report — while directing citizens to use official channels such as the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and the 1930 helpline.

A spokesperson for the bank said the campaign seeks to empower individuals with awareness and practical tools to make safer decisions while using digital financial services.
