Director Ram’s much-awaited film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, starring Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori, is all set to hit theatres on October 1. The makers announced the release date along with a new glimpse, building anticipation around the project.
The film features Nivin Pauly in a unique role as an 8,000-year-old immortal, whose life intersects with that of an ordinary 32-year-old man played by Soori. Their unexpected meeting on a moving train triggers a series of chaotic and intriguing events, adding a distinctive narrative hook to the film. Anjali, who previously collaborated with Ram in Paranthu Po, plays a key role in the story.
Music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, continuing his long-standing collaboration with the director. The technical crew includes cinematographer NK Ekhambaram, editor Mathi VS, and stunt choreographer Silva.
The film marks Nivin Pauly’s return to Tamil cinema after Richie (2017). He has already had two releases this year and is also part of upcoming projects, while Soori continues to expand his presence as a lead actor.
Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the V House Productions banner, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is expected to be a unique addition to Tamil cinema with its blend of fantasy and drama.
