Composer-actor G. V. Prakash Kumar has announced a new international collaboration for the upcoming superhero film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is slated for a theatrical release on July 30.
Taking to social media, GV Prakash revealed that he is composing a special track titled Spider-Man Anthem, set to release on July 27. While further details about the song remain under wraps, the announcement has already generated excitement among fans.
This collaboration marks another milestone, following in the footsteps of his uncle, A. R. Rahman, who previously created a Marvel Anthem for Avengers: Endgame.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is described as the first instalment in a new trilogy. The film sees Tom Holland reprising his role as the iconic superhero.
The cast also includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman and Liza Colón-Zayas.
With GV Prakash’s involvement, the film’s music has gained additional attention, raising anticipation for both the soundtrack and the film’s release.
