Chennai, Aug 12:
LPG customers across India have been advised to complete their Aadhaar-based e-KYC by August 15 to avoid difficulties in booking fresh cylinders.
The requirement applies to customers of Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum, including beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
Customers can complete the process through their respective official apps ā IndianOil ONE, HP Pay or Hello BPCL ā using their registered mobile and consumer numbers. They can select the e-KYC update option, enter their Aadhaar details and complete biometric verification through the AadhaarFaceRD app.
Those who have already completed e-KYC need not repeat the process.
Customers unable to complete the verification online can approach their LPG distributor or gas agency for assistance.
