Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Vijay on Saturday congratulated two teachers from the state who have been selected for the National Teachers’ Awards to be presented on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In a post on X, Vijay extended his greetings and appreciation to Thangaraj, a teacher at the Puliampatti Panchayat Union Primary School, and Amudha, a teacher at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Madurai, who have been selected for the prestigious national honour.
Vijay said the recognition was a testament to their dedication to shaping the future of students, innovative teaching methods and concern for student welfare.
He said the honour would bring further recognition to Tamil Nadu’s educational achievements and add to the pride of the entire teaching community in the state.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the national award would encourage the teachers further in their work and enable them to continue making a positive difference in the lives of many more students.
“May this national honour inspire you further in your service and illuminate the lives of countless students,” Vijay said, conveying his best wishes to the awardees.
