The trailer of Once More, produced by Million Dollar Studios and directed by debutant Vignesh Srikanth, was unveiled at a grand event in Chennai. Starring Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar, the romantic drama is set for worldwide theatrical release on August 28.

The film, which blends love, emotions and entertainment, also features model-turned-actor Sona Olikkal in a key role. It marks the Tamil debut of composer Hesham Abdul Wahab, known for his work on Hridayam.

Producer Yuvraaj Ganesan said the film had gone through several postponed release dates before August 28 was finally confirmed. He praised Vignesh for bringing a fresh approach to every scene and described the film as an important milestone for the debutant director.

Yuvraaj said Hesham was chosen after discussions with several composers and had delivered music beyond the team’s expectations. He also praised Aditi for accepting the role despite a reduced remuneration and for extending strong support to the production.

Describing Arjun Das as indispensable to the film, Yuvraaj said the actor had worked with complete dedication and supported the project through its challenges.

Vignesh said Once More was his “love letter” to filmmaker Mani Ratnam, whose films inspired him to become a director. He revealed that he had written the character of Raghu specifically with Arjun Das in mind and thanked the actor for completely bringing the role to life.

The director also expressed gratitude to Aditi Shankar and Sona Olikkal, who makes her acting debut as Indira. He said the film had been a long-awaited dream and thanked his entire technical team.

Hesham Abdul Wahab said Once More was one of the Tamil films he most enjoyed working on. He described it as a story audiences could easily relate to and expressed confidence that its songs would remain popular.

Aditi said the film came to her during a difficult phase in her life and that working on it brought her happiness and emotional strength. She praised Hesham’s music and said audiences would enjoy seeing Arjun in a different avatar as a “lover boy”.

Arjun revealed that Vignesh stood firmly by his decision to cast him despite suggestions from several production houses to choose another hero. He thanked the director for believing in him and said the film was particularly close to his heart.

Arjun also praised Sona and Aditi and thanked Yuvraaj and Million Dollar Studios for standing by the project through several challenges. He described Once More as a genuine drama about beautiful love.

With cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan, art direction by Rajkamal and costume design by Nava Rajkumar, the film is produced by Yuvraaj Ganesan under Million Dollar Studios.
