Actor Dulquer Salmaan said director Mysskin acted as a “guru” for the team while making I’m Game, and expressed confidence that the film would appeal strongly to Tamil audiences.
Speaking at a press meet for I’m Game in Chennai, Dulquer said he always enjoyed visiting the city and meeting journalists in person.
“Since the film features Tamil actors and Tamil dialogues, it will give audiences the feeling of watching a straight Tamil film. This is the biggest production our company has made so far,” he said.
Praising the cast, Dulquer said Kathir had delivered an impressive performance, while Mysskin had served as a mentor to the team. He also lauded Samyuktha Viswanathan for her performance and described Antony Varghese as the “real hero” of the film, expressing confidence that Tamil audiences would celebrate him.
Dulquer said the songs composed by Jakes Bejoy would be a major attraction. He added that the film combines comedy, romance, mystery, suspense, action, cricket and gambling, making it a complete commercial entertainer.
The actor also entertained the gathering by singing and dancing on stage.
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, I’m Game is scheduled to hit theatres on September 3 in multiple languages, including Tamil.
Dulquer urged audiences to watch the film in theatres and extend their support to the team.
