Chennai, Sept 3:
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has announced a series of initiatives to improve school infrastructure and public recreational spaces across the State.
New classrooms and modern facilities will be provided at schools at an estimated cost of Rs 335 crore. In addition, 250 recreational parks will be upgraded with modern amenities at a cost of Rs 175 crore.
The Chief Minister also announced plans to plant one crore saplings across Tamil Nadu through a people’s movement, as part of efforts to expand green cover and improve public spaces.
