Chennai, Sept 10:
Amazon India’s seller base has crossed the 20-lakh mark, with more than three lakh new sellers joining the platform, the company said on Tuesday.
The growth has been supported by lower selling fees, AI-powered tools, advertising solutions and investments in its fulfilment and delivery network. Amazon said seller interactions with its Seller Assistant have increased 7.5 times year-on-year.
Ahead of the festive season, Amazon is organising more than 20 Seller Connects and Ads Hive workshops to help sellers with cataloguing, inventory planning, fulfilment and advertising. The company has also created over 1.6 lakh seasonal work opportunities across its India operations network.
