Chennai, Sept 15:
A case has been registered against DMK MLA P K Sekar Babu over alleged defamatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.
The development comes amid the intensifying political confrontation between the ruling TVK and the DMK following Vijayâs recent remarks against the DMK leadership and the subsequent protests organised by the Opposition.
Sekar Babu is the second prominent DMK leader to face a case over remarks against Vijay in this latest political exchange, following the case registered against DMK MP A Raja. The fresh case is likely to add further heat to the ongoing TVK-DMK war of words.
