Filmmaker Mani Ratnam has praised Karthik Subbaraj’s Dorothy, calling it “a very special film” and describing Karthik as a “very special talent.”
He also lauded the filmmaker’s control over film language, shots and technique, while noting that Ilaiyaraaja’s music makes the film even more special.
