Chennai, Oct 1:
The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Chennai has been increased by Rs 66.50 from October 1, taking the price to Rs 2,984.
The monthly revision will increase the cooking gas expenses of hotels, restaurants, bakeries, tea shops and other commercial establishments. Traders are already facing higher costs of various cooking and other essential inputs.
There is, however, no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders used by households.
