The audio launch of ‘Haiku’, a romantic entertainer produced by Dr T. Arulanandhu and Matthew Arulanandhu under the Vision Cinema House banner, was held in Chennai. Directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, the film stars Aegan, Sridevi and Femina George in the lead roles. Sithu Kumar has composed the music. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23.
Minister Rajmohan praised Aegan’s hard work and expressed confidence that the film would combine meaningful ideas with entertainment. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu lauded the film’s portrayal of relationships and praised Sithu Kumar’s music, predicting a bright future for Aegan in Tamil cinema.
Lyricist Mohan Raja appreciated the title and its poetic significance. Directors Sasi and Ponram praised the film’s fresh approach to romance, with Ponram highlighting its unusual premise of a lone male student in a women’s college. Producer Dhananjayan, who had watched the film, described it as a poetic love story that presents romance from a different perspective.
Actor Adhirchi Arun expressed confidence in the lead cast, while Femina George said the film was special to her and praised her co-stars and the music. Sridevi, making her Tamil debut with ‘Haiku’, thanked the producer and director for the opportunity. RJ Nidhi, who is also making her film debut, expressed gratitude to the team.
Director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy thanked the producer for giving him creative freedom and praised the cast and crew for their support. Producer Arulanandhu said ‘Haiku’ was the third production from Vision Cinema House and commended Aegan’s 18 years of hard work. He also announced that Sithu Kumar would compose music for the production house’s next five films.
Aegan thanked the team and urged audiences to watch the film in theatres on October 23. Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory expressed confidence in the film’s success and praised Vision Cinema House for its commitment to filmmaking.
