Washington:
US diplomatic missions across West Asia have advised American citizens to exercise heightened vigilance amid concerns about possible attacks by Iran and groups allied with Tehran.
The advisory cited Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia and warned that hostilities could escalate beyond the immediate conflict zone.
Americans were also cautioned about possible flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions. The alert warned that US interests, businesses and institutions overseas could be potential targets.
The advisory comes amid heightened regional security concerns following missile and drone attacks in the Gulf.
